3Good design - poor qualityJun 19, 2007
Idea of this stroller is great; implementation - poor. We owned a Chicco Cortina travel system (BTW, absolutely wonderful stroller, highest quality, and REALLY all-terrain wheels, large basket, large adjustable canopy), but my 5 months old son is very large and I wanted a roomier stroller. Since he outgrew the Chicco CayFit car seat I decided to by Vinezia because it accommodates babies till 45 lbs and has reversible handle - he likes to see me during our walks. I am giving it 3 stars as a compromise between my 5 months old son's and my own reviews (his - 5, mine - 1). Options my son likes and I appreciate:

1. Carriage style - looking at each other is a big bonus to both of us - 5 stars
2. Large seat - it really is larger than most of other strollers. He feels very comfortable in the fully reclined seat, sleeps well and has room to roll over! My son is a tummy sleeper, and in this stroller he rides on his tummy :-) I lock harness on his back and he looks very funny. - 5 stars
3. Harness - can be used and 5-point or 3-point. Shoulder belts are not attached to the back of the stroller, but can be fixed on it; so the baby is more flexible though still safe - 5 stars
4. Basket - large, roomy, can be easily reached even with fully reclined seat. BUT the baby foot cover is ATTACHED to the basket and you cannot remove it. That reduces the basket room. - 4 stars
5. Handles - reversible option is great, but the handle itself is not comfortable and is not fixed onto the stroller well: it shakes badly while riding. Handle made of ugly plastic.- 3 stars
6. Hood - reversible, but not large enough. Back zip closure is the only benefit - in hot weather provides better air flow; and also opens a view to my baby when he rides on his tummy :-) Adjusts with horrible noise that wakes up the sleeping baby. It's attached to the stroller frame with cheap PLASTIC snap which falls off every second. - 2 stars
7. Wheels - the WORST part of this otherwise quite nice stroller. I couldn't believe such an expensive stroller would have that cheaply made wheels: can be pushed easily only on the absolutely smooth surface (on the home floor, in the malls, for example). I am exhausted after pushing it in the park. Poor maneuvering option, better to lock swiveling wheels. Get stuck at every little bump. Made of cheap plastic. Wheel suspension poor. No shock absorbers at all; the stroller shakes so bad that I have feeling it would break apart while riding.

Overall: poor quality for that high price; 3 stars only because my son feels happy and comfortable and really likes this stroller, otherwise I would had returned it. Nice for a rider, terrible for a pusher. But I am afraid, it won't last long. Though, if it costed no more than $150 I would give 4 stars definitely for the babys comfort.

4Best for your baby to face youJul 29, 2006
After my son outgrew his infant carrier in a Snap-n-Go, it was time to buy a stroller. But every time I took my son shopping or out for a walk in his front-facing jogger, he would begin crying after 10 or 15 minutes. So the search for a stroller that would allow him to see me began.

Most strollers that have this function are quite expensive. Ultimately we settled on the Venezia. It collapses fairly easily and has a reversible handle (many only have a reversible seat). It pushes okay, but mostly requires smooth surfaces. No off-roading with this big rig. It is pretty heavy, but not so bad that I would actually complain about it.

It is quite cushy for the little one, and he falls asleep in it readily. The seat reclines with no effort so I can lie him flat while he's dozing. Although, it has a baby snack tray, the drink holder is too little to be of any use thus far.

It has no meaningful adult cup/beverage holder and that is it's biggest flaw to me. Also, I am 5'7" and if I am walking a little quickly I kick the wheels when he is rear-facing.

Our family is getting a lot of use out of this stroller. So far it's been to an arts festival, a couple of malls, an amusement park, the park and the zoo. I believe we enjoyed all of those places exponentially more because we could all see one another.
