Love this Cadillac of strollersDec 27, 2008 I want to say that the person who wrote the review entitled "Love this Cadillac of strollers" I completely agree with after having two kids use this stroller. This one does it all - every situation, every weather. Its a bassenette, a stroller, a bed. The basket is large and it will fold even when there are quite a few items in the basket. I have ordered a replacement part and that was easy to do and fairly cheap from the company. IMHO this makes every other stroller design simply look like a sad compromise. We found it on sale for $200- which I balked at but now I tell you it was positively the best money I spent on the babies. If i had to buy another now for some reason I would not hesitate even payinf full retail for it. We have taken this stroller to Italy, Russia, Florida, Las Vegas, and other places and it has been perfect for all that travel too.
GRRRRRREAT!!!!!!Feb 12, 2004 I really love it.....Happy Price is little high but totally worth it

Not a Stroller for City LivingFeb 08, 2004 I purchased this stroller while still pregnant because of all the great reviews I've read. But no where was it ever mentioned the effectiveness on steps or public transportation. This stroller is in no way made for apartment living if you dont have a wheelchair ramp. I live on the first floor of a walk up building and have 2 short steps into the building then 4 steps to the first floor. Can you believe that the break gets engaged going up or down the steps and locks stroller onto step between step and footrest. I called the company and they said this stroller has to be totally lifted up and down the steps. How realistic is this? This has become the most expensive baby seat for in the house and can only be taken out when I have someone with me. I had to invest in a Mclaren Techno XT.

Great...but not in the cityNov 26, 2003 We bought this stroller after reading the section in Baby Bargains on city strollers which recommended the Venezia as being the best stroller for city living. I have to strongly disagree with them. Where we live in Philadelphia, the old sidewalks are very bumpy and uneven and the small wheels do not handle this well. It often gets stuck and I have to lift the front wheels to get over the smallest obstacles. What I do like about this stroller is that it is so well made and versatile. I love the fact that I can change the direction she is facing to avoid the sun and the boot has been great now that the weather is getting colder. I do not think that there is a "perfect" stroller out there but I do recommend getting one with bigger wheels if you live in a city.

paying for the name, not the product!!!Nov 05, 2003 i received this stroller as a gift for the one that i registered for got discontinued... well, after 2 months, i have returned it and got a graco-- sure the pattern is beautiful and the material is of a high quality-- but practicality this one doesn't have it.. the basket is tiny---- a small diaper bag will fit in there & you have to squeeze it in there... no parent tray- doesn't seem like a big deal until you walk through the mall pushing the stroller in one hand and carrying a cup in the other---big pain.. i tried ordering a parent tray through peg perego but they don't make one-- and the universal one doesn't fit-- also, the 5 point harness in the stroller itself is very useless-- i have yet to meet a toddler that wants to be soo strapped in & you can't disconnect it-- i tried.. not worth the money...
