Good, but not greatSep 27, 2008 I've owned this style of stroller for 2 years now. I think it maneuvers great in the street, and it pushes easily, and it's very lightweight and easy to transport. I do think it is way too expensive for what you are getting. My stroller is in excellent condition and looks like brand new, but from my child leaning over the tray while he's in it, the tray has broken off by the hinge on one side, and my husband said since it's rivoted, it's not able to be fixed. So this I was unhappy with. Customer service from this company is bad, so if you are going to buy it, bear in mind that it basically isn't coming with any kind of warantee. Hopefully, like in my situation, the stroller will break when your child is almost done using it.
terrible if your kid is older than 7 or 8 months oldMay 03, 2008 I bought this a few years ago because I wanted a lightweight stroller to travel with my then 2 1/2 year old son and it seemed the perfect solution. The reclining is great and the basket holds a lot. Yet, there are some very IMPORTANT DESIGN ERRORS.
Right after I got it we noticed that turning it was very difficult, and driving it with one hand, impossible. It makes you bump into everyone and always makes for clumsy driving, no matter what you do. We took it to the warranty site and they said they replaced the front wheels. It is still the same!!!
I now have a 1 year old girl who inherited this difficult stroller. (only because we spent so much on it that we feel terrible buying another one but we will now because I can't stand it any longer).
With my little girl using it since 3 months old, I got to understand how this stroller has some good ratings. It was like a different stroller. UNITIL SHE GOT TO A CERTAIN WEIGHT (not the limit, trust me, she is still 20lbs). It is not that it gets to be difficult to drive from the amount of use. It is that, when the baby is up to about 7 to 8 mo old, driving it is wonderful. BUT, WHEN THE BABY GAINS SOME WEIGHT, IT BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN.
So to all who are happy with it. Just wait!!!! And to those who haven't bought it, try another one!!!!
This is a real nightmare!Apr 17, 2008 I was probably out of my mind when i decided to buy this product for my 18 mo old child. Even $12.99's strollers made better than this piece of "cheap" plastic covered by "expensive italian" fabric.
1. Absolutely NO maneurability and NO Steering
2. Sunshade is SO small and uncomfortable - my son was always exposed to sun and rain.
3. Basket underneath is NOT durable - once you put there gallon of milk it will scratch the asphalt forever.
4. Aluminium parts are NOT durable too.
5. System of Restrain belts are totally unuseful - my toddler came out from this stroller for 3 seconds so when you stop at the Dunkin Donuts window to buy a coffee you should keep un eye on you child otherwise you will look for him everywhere in the street.
So i wish i knew all of these before i put in trash $199. This stroller doesn't worth this money at all.
Best Travel Stroller on the marketJan 20, 2008 My daughter is 2 now and we have had this since birth. It has lasted and is still going strong. I understand some of the bad reviews with regard to the cup holder and the sunshade. But frankly I have not seen any stroller sunshade that was all that good. I bought a lycra shade attachement for when we are in the sun. The primary reason I bought this stroller is the weight. We travel a lot to visit family and friends. This is a very lightweight and maneuverable stroller for airport travel. It is lighter than most reasonably made umbrella strollers and it has a great basket compared to NO basket in an umbrella stroller. I have a very large purse and a very large diaper bag. They both fit if they are not stuffed full, only one fits if it is stuffed. The only drawback to travel alone is the two hand fold. I can do it fine since I always bring a sling and it is easy to do if your hands are free. The wheels are AWESOME, I think the people who had trouble didn't figure out the locks. The two front wheels lock so that you have the option of no swivel. The only time I lock them is when my toddler wants to push it instead of ride in it. Otherwise, the swivel wheels allow a complete circle with a very small turn radius, perfect for shopping in tight stores. The recline works great and is infinitely adjustable but we never use it because she was never one to sleep in the stroller. I did attach a cup holder primarily for the zipper compartment that it has. I love that too. It is by www.bobgear.com . This stroller even fits, folded flat, in the back of my subaru forester, with my dog, a 100# golden retriever. And it has a great handle for carrying when you are checking it plane-side. We have been on at least 12 plane trips since she was born... just her and I. And the stroller has survived and is still in good condition and LOOKS good too.
I would definitely buy again if I need to before she has outgrown it. At this point I have used it to death and would repurchase the same one.
Very Happy Consumer
Great light-weight stroller with a trayNov 24, 2007 We've had this stroller for over a year now, and are very happy with it. The main thing I wanted a light weight stroller with a tray. I have an old Peg-Perego Pliko, but it didn't have a tray. The tray makes all the difference. It's so much easier to feed the baby while you're out somewhere. It's easy to fold and unfold.
The basket is big enough to store a diaper bag. It's a great basket for this light stroller.
The only thing the adult cup holder fell off after a couple of months of use. It's not very sturdy.
