 LOOK ELSEWHERE! NO SAFETY STRAPS!Oct 10, 2008
What a disappointment & it looks cheap! I had a very similar product made by Fisher Price when my 14 year old was a baby so thought this would be the same - WRONG! There is NO SAFETY STRAP! There is only a strap which is permanent in the center.
My little one squirms all over & if I don't watch him every second he could easily squirm his way out the bottom or he turns & tries to climb up the back & could easily flip out. I can't even get up from the table to get something if it is just the 2 of us home. This high chair needs a clip type strap. I can't believe they can even sell a high chair without one!
There is no skid/bumper pads to protect the floor either. The tray sits too far away & does not have enough adjustment holes. Poor design from the 1st one we had from Fisher Price. My little one bangs on the tray to get it to shake - the whole chair shakes & rocks since it sits uneven on level ground.
I waited a LONG time for it to arrive also. When it arrived it wasn't the high chair it was a box of 4 bed guard rails! I was very disappointed after we had already waited so long for it to arrive. SO we waited some more! . . . .

Pros: the first impression leaves one in awe of the wood's natural beauty. It feels nice, heavy and sturdy. We loved the clever design, and so did the grandparents; they want one for their house.
Cons: Difficult to assemble and ours, for whatever reason, did not come with the vinyl pad, which would definitely make it a snugger spot for our little.

The chair/table arrived promptly and in excellent shape. I was anxiously awaiting it's arrival!!.
It was just a bit troublesome trying to assemble it by just using the "visual" instructions. It did take a little while, but it was worth it after I completed it.
It is absolutely beautiful. The color, size, quality, and functionality are excellent. I am extremely proud to have and use it for my grandchildren. It is something that will remain in our family for many, many years to come.
