very niceMay 18, 2008 I really like this portable high chair. It is very compact for traveling and I like using it at restaurants. Highly recommend it.
Great high chair alternativeOct 05, 2007 What i really like about this chair is that it let me move our high chair into the basement where it belongs. Its a simple design that's easy to clean and best of all it hides away when you tuck in your chair so the dining room looks neat again. Just one step of many to reclaiming the house from those big plastic baby products. I give this my highest recommendation...Maybe the one downside is my son at 18 months can wiggle his way out. Something he couldn't do in a highchair.

Worth the $$$Aug 21, 2007 This seat was simple to install right out of the box. I agree with the other reviewer: you don't need a cushion. The great thing about this seat is that it elevates your child to the right height for eating at a table. My daughter loves it, and it is easy to clean and easy on the eyes. Very portable too. Also, it does have a 3-point strap (just around the waist and through the legs, no shoulders). I highly recommend this seat.

Excellent chair - not too ugly! (for a change;)Aug 04, 2007 This booster seat has been great from day one! We have had it for about 3 months now, and so far, we are completely satisfied with this purchase. Here are the reasons I LOVE this high chair:
1. I know I am not the only one who is getting sick and tired of either pastel or ridiculously bright-colored plastic baby crap! This chair solves that - it is offered in different types of wood and color combos. Completely matches our modern-looking kitchen.
2. It is REALLY easy to get my child in and out. I know it does not offer a 3-point harness, but my kid is against the table; I don't really see a reason for the shoulder strap....
3. It is easy to wipe clean. We do not have cushions on our "adult" chairs, and we did not buy the cushion for this seat. The varnished wood is very easy to wipe clean.
4. It is REALLY easy to install. Right from the box and on the chair in minutes!
5. My kid LOVES sitting in there much better than his old, Fisher Price high chair. He is part of the family...and can sit at the table like a big boy.

Handy-Sitt seatMay 13, 2007 The seat is a big success. Sturdy. My grandson loves it. It was to be his chair at grandma's house but everybody liked it so much it has replaced his highchair at his own house. The idea is that it will come with him when he visits, but I may just have to get a second one. I didn't realize from the ad that it does come with a cushion, so I ordered an extra which had to be sent back.
My only regret is that it doesn't have a place for feet to rest, except on the edge of the chair seat (a) if there's room and (b) while the child is still small enough to do it.
