Compact, Flat Fold
When you have a child, space is often at a premium. Between toys and playmates and strollers, the last thing most parents want or need is another thing to add to the clutter. The Contempo, however, is specially designed to serve all your child's needs at feeding time, but then fold down for quick and easy storage. When closed, this chair is truly compact and fits directly in a standing position in your pantry or laundry room, or next to the refrigerator. And there's never any need for assembly because it comes to you already put together, and neither folding it down nor setting it back up again require tools or hardware.

Cushioned, Adjustable Comfort
Good, solid feeding habits at an early age help set the groundwork for healthy eating as your child grows. The Contempo gives your baby a safe, sturdy and comfortable place to sit and eat, and also provides parents with perks that make clean-up a snap--all which help to ensure that feeding time is pleasant for everyone. First, the cushioned, vinyl coated seat pad offers soft support and easily wipes clean. Three seat positions recline with one hand to help keep infants in a secure and comfortable position, and six seat heights put baby at table or your level so she'll feel like she's part of the action.

Baby's done eating but you and your family are still enjoying your meal? Not a problem, thanks to the tray slots, which hold Mix 'n Match toys (sold separately) or other fun objects. Once baby's ready to move on to his next adventure, simply pull out the ergonomic tray with one hand, and either wipe it with a sponge or place it in the dishwasher for a more thorough cleaning.

Safe Design Grows With Your Child
The Contempo has a safe, sturdy design that's made for use as soon as your child can hold her head up--up to 36 months and/or a maximum weight of 40 pounds. This highchair also comes complete with a convertible 3- and 5-point harness system that adjusts to accommodate your growing child. The innovative feet with rollers let you properly position the chair close to you and/or the table, so you can help feed baby or simply keep a close eye on him or her.

The Contempo measures 23.0 x 42 x 32 inches (WxHxD) and weighs 20 pounds.

About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. In 1953, Gray left the firm, leaving Cone as sole owner. Cone decided to manufacture his own line of products, but had trouble coming up with ideas. Enter David Saint, an engineer, tinkerer, and stained glass artisan who worked for Graco. Saint, himself a father of nine, was intrigued when an associate told him how his wife would soothe their tired and cranky baby while swinging in a backyard glider swing. Acting on this inspiration, he went to the drawing board and 18 months of hard work later, the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic, was born. Graco sold millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process. Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, their dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products remains, and continues on.

5greatJul 19, 2008
This highchair is great. It has easy adjustments for the chair height and the tray position. The tray top comes off easily for cleaning. It folds up easily for storage but we usually just leave it sitting by the kitchen table. It is very easy to put my daughter in and out without removing the tray. My daughter loves sitting in her chair to eat.

4great high chair, only a couple small problems.Jul 05, 2008
We have been using this high chair for about 4 months. I like the pattern of the chair and the colors. It blends in nice with our home. The picture if a bit deceiving though... the "fabric" part of the chair is actually plastic and ha a big graco logo (not in picture). It serves it's purpose but I just didn't expect it to look like it does based on the picture.
The tray isn't as sturdy as I would like either. Don't get me wrong... it is ok. My sister just has a really high quality high chair and it's tray is much more sturdy. Other than that it is great!

2for me this thing is a monstrosityJul 01, 2008
I bought this when pregnant for my now 2yr old thinking it would be a space saver for our smallish kitchen as is folds up for storage. Turns out we never used that feature because we use the high chair too often to bother with folding & storing, only to drag it out & unfold it a few hours later. It is really a pain to move it around the room or just reposition, which we need to do all the time. It has an awkward design with huge, splayed legs that we always seem to manage to trip over or kick with our toes (pain). Rolling it is like trying to drag a stubborn horse, almost as if it has a free will and is literally trying everything to keep from going where I want it. I usually end up dragging other furniture or toys along with it as they get snared by the 50 ft "wing span" of the legs. I hate it. But I am NOT buying a new one for baby #2 (due in Aug) b/c I need my money for other stuff. This will have to suffice. If I had it to do over I would get the Peg Perego, or another highly rated chair, not this freakish thing.

5Great chair and customer serviceJun 07, 2008
We bought this chair for our little one. The design and construction quality is great. It is fully adjustable and the baby loves it. The chair that we got, arrived damaged but instead of returning it called Graco and they immediately sent us the spare parts to swap. 100% statified with their customer service and fast shipping on the parts. I am convinced Graco is a company that wants to take care of its customers and make things right if something does goes wrong. Very, very pleased. Will continue to buy Graco products.

4Stylish, yet functionalJun 05, 2008
I really like this highchair. I bought it for two reasons--one it matches my decor and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I cannot stand all those baby prints! Secondly it folds remarkably flat, which, admittedly, we haven't done, but I don't think its that big of a deal since it blends in so well! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the footrest seems to be only for looks. My daughter is only 6 months, but the way it is recessed I don't believe she will ever be able to make use of it. I'm sure this is a drawback of it being able to fold down so slim. I also really like that it is on wheels, and the seat cover is a soft, plastic that is easy to wipe down and keep clean, yet soft and comfortable for her to sit in. I haven't had a big enough mess to have to wash it in the washing machine yet, but it looks as though it will wash well. I also recommend purchasing the optional mix 'n move toys that will fit on the tray--they are more entertaining to her that I would have thought, and they don't end up on the floor all of the time!
