I love my Pink and Blue Boo!Aug 16, 2007 This is a wonderful stroller. Well worth the money!
When I was 9 months pregnant with my 2nd child I felt like I couldn't get out of the house b/c i just could not push my DD around in any of my other strollers. (I started off with the PBK Zooper, then a blue 20 dollar umbrella stroller from BabiesRUs, then a 40 dollar kolcraft stroller from sears). That all changed once I got my Bugaboo. It is soo easy to push. I literally can push it with the tip of my finger! They even give you a wrist strap to wear because this stroller will just move without you having to push it! Its quite amazing! It must be the giant wheels- they are awesome! My back no longer felt like it was breaking everytime I went out! I figured that was worth the extra money I spent on this stroller.
I use this stroller with the wheeled board, and I love both! Even though I am pushing my 30 lb toddler and my 18 lb baby, I really don't have a hard time! The ride is so smooth and I just could go on and on about the ease of use!
I love the extendable handlebars. Since I use the wheeled board to turn my bugaboo into an instant double stroller, i really like the extra room for my DD's head. I also appreciate being able to lower the handlebars when I need to save room. (i.e in a crowded dr.'s office, a restaurant, or in the trunk of a car.)
The basket is really nice and roomy. I can fit a lot of groceries in it. I walk to do my food shopping, so a large basket is really important to me and I feel like this one serves me well.
The bugaboo maneuvers so nicely. (This is thanks to the smaller front wheels.)Its great for getting in and out of doorways, elevators, small spaces like tiny store aisles.
Its nice to be able to switch the stroller so that my DD can either face me and her big sister or the other way to face the world.
The blue and pink color combo is so much fun! Its so bright and cheery! So perfect for me and my girls! (And yet I can always switch out the pink down the line if I ever have boys and don't want to stroll them around in bright pink.)
Its funny, the bugaboo is somewhat of a status symbol and I'm very much NOT a "fancy lady", but honestly, this stroller works great and that's why I use it EVERY DAY! Its the perfect stroller for people who walk all the time. I highly recommend it!
That being said, if you are a "get in the car and go" type, this might not be the best stroller for you. Id probably recommend you find something lightweight and super easy to fold. The fold on the Bugaboo is manageable, but its not as easy as an umbrella fold or a zippy fold. Having to separate the pieces is not a big deal- I put the baby in the car seat first anyway, but it does seem to take up a bit of trunk space. Keep in mind that I use this stroller with the handles fully extended and the wheeled board attached, so that might contribute to the somewhat difficulty I have with putting this in and taking it out of my (sedan type)car.
Hope this helps. I know its a pricey stroller and thus hard to commit to. I did so much research before committing to this stroller that it was driving me crazy! But I am very glad I bit the bullet and chose the Bugaboo. You wont be disappointed with this one!
