Britax - Buy for the Reputation Oct 19, 2008
I bought my Britax Roundbaout to replace the travel system Chicco seat we got when my little boy was born. Not an easy decision when there so many others to choose from. Even though money was tight I put in the extra $$ because of Britax's reputation of safety and comfort, plus the good reports on amazon. So far (6 months) its been a great buy, my little guy is very comfortable and enjoys falling sleep in the paddded seat. The restraints are easy to use and offer peace of mind, and the seat it self tilts which was great when my little one first got in the chair. The design is nice, a vibrant blue color - not really interested in the University logo, not even sure why Britax add it.
So the roundabout gets my thumbs up - a very good buy

This car seat is wonderful. Below are a few features that I really liked:
- straps are extremely easy to adjust
- straps do not twist
- super cushy seat, with plush cover
- fits in my Corolla as a rear facing seat and a passenger can sit in the front seat (to fit my old snug and ride seat, I had to move the passenger seat all the way to the front, making it impossible for anyone to sit there).
- easy to install
- is consistently rated as a top car seat
- so wonderful, I ordered a second seat for my other car
- Child loves it. She smiled the first time I put her in it.

This car seat is awesome! It is so easy to install and take out. My 8 month old seems very comfortable in it. The Britax roundabout was rated the highest for safety, even above the more expensive Britax seats. I have an Evenflo that cost about the same and is much more difficult to install, remove and clean. I highly recommend this seat and the collegiate patterns are $80 cheaper than the other fabrics.
