Convenient and safeJan 08, 2008 I also have the Graco Snug Ride infant seat and am baffled why the other reviewer couldn't fit it properly. I have used the Snap 'n Go (and infant seat) with two babies now, and I've never had a problem using it. I've also lent it to other mothers with different car seats, and I've never heard a complaint about function or safety. The grip is cushioned, features two cup holders, and it's very maneuverable. I love the fact that it folds flat, which makes stowing it in the car convenient (or garage between babies), especially when out shopping. I'm short, so putting the car seat on top of the cart is kinda awkward for me, and lugging baby around is becoming harder now that he's growing. I use the Snap N Go for my grocery shopping most of the time -- it's amazing how much you can fit in the underneath storage basket.
Works GreatDec 08, 2007 Have been using this with my Graco Snug Ride seat for the past 7 weeks and it works perfectly. The stroller is made to be used with several different types of cars seats so you have to read the instructions to be sure you are using it properly with your seat. I've had absolutely no problems. It's very lightweight and compact. I keep it in my trunk so it's always at hand when I'm out and about. This is so much easier to use that those big travel systems.
Super convenient although perhaps not a main strollerJan 06, 2007 We bought one of these to use with our Baby Trend Flex-Loc seat and have used it for 3 months. The stroller is made to work with several car seat brands and has adjustment instructions for each of those. The flex-loc seat fits in the same way it fits into it's own base so it's quite secure.
The biggest reason to get one of these is for an in-car stroller. When you drive anywhere, you just remove the car seat from it's base, unfold the snap-n-go, and drop the seat in. You never have to take your child out of the car seat which can be a huge hassle.
The stroller is good quality but not as nice to use as some of the larger-wheeled every day strollers or joggers. The sidewalks in our area are in terrible condition so the smaller wheels have more trouble getting over them. That said, many other strollers have these small (5" ?) wheels too.
I'm happy with this product and would buy it again in a second. I'd like it more if it had larger wheels but for the price, size, and convenience it's hard to beat.
Please don't buy this!Dec 01, 2006 I got it to put my Graco Snug Rider car seat on it. Despite of the fact that I carefully followed the directions, it never worked. One of the pieces, supposed to snap in place, never did. I called Baby Trend customer service three times, and three different representatives I spoke to were unprofessional, discourteous and completely uninformed about the product features. I returned the stroller to Amazon (very easy process), and fortunately my refund was processed in a prompt way.
Since I returned it, I have checked out several of these strollers with babies on board, and none of them held the car seats properly! I got the Graco Snug Rider carrier, which is a breeze to assemble and feels very solid. What a difference $10 more can make!
