2Good, but some problems perticularly with the tiresNov 09, 2008
We bought this stroller for our first child. We bought it because it handles well and turns easily. Also since we live in a small city apartment, the folding aspect was a must. Here is a list of the problems we have had with the stroller:

1) At two months the front tire, inner tube was punctured by a wire protruding from the actual rubber tire. We had to take off the tire and patch the tube. We also had to file down the wire in the tube and in a couple more areas we thought might puncture the tube in the future.

2) The front tire never got back to normal and turns and studders at medium to high speeds. If I used it for running, I would not be able to use it after fixing the tire. Maybe it takes more than 2 engineers with PhDs to fix it correctly. :)

3) Around 3 months the release to fold up the body of the stroller started sticking. It is now very difficult to pull the release on the one side.

4) Around 5 months the rear tire punctured, perhaps because of us rolling over something, but we patched it and it holds air.

Our child is now 6 months old and we have yet to use it without the infant seat. I like the ease of putting the car seat in a car, however we only use it in a car infrequently, since we don't currently own a car.

I am happy with the maneuvering of the stroller as long as I am not hurrying across the road or anything. I wouldn't buy this stroller again or recommend that my friends do.

2be careful with front tire!!!!!Oct 15, 2008
I liked the idea of the swivel wheel so it can double as a stroller. The quick release is not a good idea. If you buy this stroller be VERY CAREFUL TO TIGHTEN FRONT WHEEL TIGHTER THAN YOU THINK. I believe I had, and the wheel came off one side of the fork, twisted sideways and acted like an instant brake and sent me and the stroller tumbling to the pavement. The top-heavy design makes this easy to happen. Not a great design.

1Wish I'd done more researchJul 20, 2008
We've used this stroller & carseat for 4 months now. I'll never buy 'Baby Trend' brand again.

Stroller:

Cons: Heavy; cumbersome to fold/unfold (takes both hands & a foot); bulky when folded; latch that keeps it folded is flimsy & designed improperly (the stroller can fold much tighter than the latch will allow); tires don't hold air; canopy doesn't pivot fully forward (a problem when the sun is in baby's eyes); and saving the worst for last - the swivel front wheel shakes on demand when you're trying to push in a straight line, so you have to stop completely & start again, hoping it doesn't shake. The only way around this is to lock the front wheel in place, but then you have to tilt back to turn, which causes baby's head to flop forward when using the carseat.

Pros: Seems to ride smoothly, and looks cool.

Carseat:

Cons: Like others have said - insufficient lateral head support for baby; belts twist within latches VERY easily, but are oddly difficult to twist back; latch must be held together & inserted into buckle at once (other latches allow left, then right insertion - MUCH better); handle is difficult to reposition; seems very uncomfortable.

Pros: Matches cool-looking 'jogger' stroller.

Do your baby a favor & buy something else.

4Good systemJun 07, 2008
I love the stroller and the fact that it doesn't get stuck over every little bump. It takes some getting use to maneuvering though. The carrier part is good but does not protect baby's head very well. You need to get your own head protection to keep baby's head from flopping all over the place. Not crazy about the buckling system because it's more complicated than it should be. But easy handle to carry in and out and back and forth. Overall, it's a good travel system and I would recommend it to a friend with a side note to get your own head protection.

2Not really impressed Apr 29, 2008
ALthough the concept is a great idea, I feel this product was poorly manufactured. The first one I purchased was missing several parts and we returned to the store for exchange(after lugging the stroller- which doesn't fit in either of our cars- saab and Toyota sedans w/o removing the wheels). The second one is also missing screws to secure the foot board. Although minor, it attests to the poor attention to detail that in the process' of this stroller.
Secondly, when going even slight faster than a moderate walk (>3.5 mph) the stoller shakes if the front wheel is not locked. Often time the hand trigger does not work- so you are forced to stop your walk (or jog/run) to fix this.
While the concept is nice, still has a little way to go. I would try other models even if more expensive first--
